Hi everyone,

Thanks for the teamwork this quarter, and thank you Jason for giving me this opportunity. I'd like to continue working in the lab next quarter if my help is still needed. But probably I can only do 2 units instead of 4!?

Here's something funny, hope it'll bring u a laughter!

Sherry: Sleep consolidation. Like, to see if sleep helps learning.
Sherry's sister: What? If it's true, you must have gotten 20o PhD by now.
Sherry: ................. *I only sleep 12 hours a day*.................

Good job this quarter guys! The presentations were pretty informative and did a good job of reflecting all the work we did. I don't know who is planning on returning to the lab next quarter but I probably won't be there. I'm sure I'll see you guys around campus and such. Good luck with finals!

Thanks everyone for your efforts this quarter. Things got crazy from time to time, but you all held it together with your hard work and quick thinking. Let's plan on Friday afternoon at 1:30 for your presentations. We'll meet at the lab first, then take over a conference room.

Today I ran the subjects from Session 1 of 407 on Session 2. Was a good day, and that's it for 407 this quarter.

I was in the lab today from 11-12:30 but didn't have anything to work on as Jason wasn't around so I'll be back again tomorrow at 12. I'll be working on the powerpoint for the presentation on Friday. Are we doing joint presentations?

I ran the last three subjects on second session 408 today. Smooth sailing. We'll have some interesting data to look at this week. Later this week, I want to work on a Powerpoint presentation on the DDR experiment. I think I'll be putting that together with Pierce and Emily and Sherry but I'm not sure yet.

Credit

2:00 - 3:00

Not much to do anymore. Jason had me assign some credit for another experiment. I guess we're presenting sometime next week, Friday I think. I won't be coming in next Tuesday or Thursday unless it's really important. It's been a good quarter.

Today I ran 18 subjects on 445. There were no problems, someone even made 6.75, wow.

I ran only one subject today for session 2, since (according to Jason) the other guy really went in at 11PM last night. So we have 25 subjects (minus the skipped number and a few didn't show up for second session) completed.

1:00 - 6:00 pm

Today I ran 21 subjects on session 2 of 407. One of the subjects couldn't make it so has no data, subject 14.

There was a bit of chaos because Noriko has someone running subjects at 1:00 - 1:30 and we had 7 subjects from 1-2, but it worked out well because one of the guys came an hour and a half late. Other than that nothing much to report, except I noticed we have another 6 people signed up for 5:00 tomorrow and that is probably going to suck.

I got my powerpoint presentation all ready today. Didn't see Jason in the lab. I have a lot of school work to do, so I'm heading out.

408 scheduling

I cancelled a Thursday scheduled for "12 am - 1am" and opened up slots for Thurs at 12pm, and Fri at 1pm, 2pm, 3p, and 4pm. I also noticed that our other Thursday spots are for "10pm" and "11pm". I didn't email the subjects in case someone else already did... they know it's 10 am and 11 am, right?

The 12 o clock didn't come in... other than that, smooth sailing. Oh, except for our accidently scheduling the 4 pm as "4 am" but I think we got the confirmation that he knows the right time to show up.

Small Bills, Please

2:00 - 4:30

Today I ran a very strange errand. Since the Psych department only gives money out in $10 increments, and one of Jason's experiments needed smaller change, I had to go to the bank. Jason gave me $100, which I exchanged for large amounts of nickels, quarters, singles, and fives. Not suspicious at all.

About the experiment, though. The experiment itself is basically over. I spent some time preparing a Powerpoint presentation summarizing te experiment and what I did this quarter. Most of the basic info is in there.
